  1. It also depends on which version you get. Many of the copies in the
uk are sponsored by the Saudi regime who's interpretation is
    different to others
I have freinds and relatives from many races and faiths

  2. Then report the matter to the race relations people..

Dave has made it quite clear, we are living in a new society, a big one
what he invented a few weeks ago and we are now allowed to be intolerant
of wogs who are racists. If you really are that pissed off about it and I
doubt you are, I think you are just some **** making a noise for the sake
of it, then don't tell us, tell some civil servants, it is their job to
sort it out and if they don't then tell Dave and that nice Mr Moredick.

"I have £20 of your fuel in my bike. As you are refusing my payment I will
make the assumption that you are making a gift. Thankyou and have a nice
    day."

Recorded on a mobile phone. Replay to plod when they come around.

  8. The women also. Out of sight of their owners they are under no obligation
to toe the line, they do so from choice, a choice that is their own. So
please, credit where credit is due, point and laugh at them equally.

  9. Had something similar on the radio today. Bloke in petrol station
refused a ¤200 note for ¤80 quid's worth of petrol. Bloke in car drove
off, having had his payment refused. He did drop in later (several weeks
later) with the ¤80 and nobody knew what he was on about.
There are a few hooky large value ¤ notes around, it is true, but ffs.

  12. Good point.
I do recall some Muslim women who were much more liberal with their
    favours than their black-clad sisters.

Really. And you know this because of what? Your interpretation of
    the Koran?
Where do you get this 'knowledge' from, the english defence league?
How do you know which translation is accurate?
I don't think I'm the only one that considers you to be an racist.
You've marked yourself out with previous posts.

Dunno about Eire, but IIRC in the UK a seller is not obliged to offer
change. Your bloke in the car would be in the wrong.

  15. Its really not that difficult to understannd the text .
You cant really mis interprete the section about dressing modestly
You read the translations taken pre 1900 , before the Saud regime
    came to dominance around 1930

Objecting to the prevous governments immigration policies does not
    make you a raceist .

Of course you can. It's a word, not a scientific formula, it's
inherently ambiguous and open to interpretation, especially once it's
been both translated and transliterated from another language and
    alphabet.

Your complaint is that their interpretation of "modest" isn't the same
as yours. And therefore they're somehow in the wrong.

That makes you pretty much the dictionary definition of a bigot.

    A semi-literate one at that.

  17. No my argument is that the Koran does not state that a woman must
    cover her body entirely

Heres a copy of one of the verses

Tell the believing men that they shall subdue their eyes (and not
stare at the women), and to maintain their chastity. This is purer
for them. God is fully Cognizant of everything they do.
And tell the believing women to subdue their eyes, and maintain their
chastity. They shall not reveal any parts of their bodies, except
that which is necessary. They shall cover their chests, and shall not
relax this code in the presence of other than their husbands, their
fathers, the fathers of their husbands, their sons, the sons of their
husbands, their brothers, the sons of their brothers, the sons of
their They shall not strike their feet when they walk in order to
shake and reveal certain details of their bodies. All of you shall
repent to God, O you believers, that you may succeed.* (24:30-31)

The idea of completely covering the body came about because of the
tyranical Arab traditions and possibly the fact that the Arabic word
for covering your chest also has come to mean cover your hair to.

Thats why originally i said to Stephen that if he read a copy of the
Koran it would be better and more accurate not to pick a copy
    supplied by the Saudi regime

Not bad for a dyslexic semi illiterate

Well said. If the sky-fairy series of books was clear and direct we would
have no need for priests and stuff to interpret it for us would we. Thus
rendering the book useless for the control of the population at large and
    the generation of money.

I'm not particularly interested in getting involved in a dispute about
racism (although having met Steve Robinson, I doubt he's a racist), but
there was a recent TV interview with a pillar of the Moslem (an imman)
community and he said that the burhka wasn't necessary to conform to the
Koran and that it was generally worn by those who *want* to wear it, or are
"encouraged" to wear it by their families.

One prick waited for me to get right up to the cash counter before telling
(not asking) me to remove my helmet. I just turned to the bloke next to me
and said "See this tenner< (I put it on the counter) Now would you call that
payment for a tenners worth of fuel"? He said "Yers".

I just walked off and left the cash droid to do what he thought was the
    right thing to do.

He must have put it in the till, coz I never got a midnight knock from Plod
    accusing me of thieving.
