I think he was one of the riders doing his bit for the envious masses
at the Milan bike show last year.

I might have to go there again in a couple of years because it made a
decent weekend away even though beers in the centre of Milan are more
    than a bit expensive.

    Not exactly cheap in Pithivier!

Trust me, Milan puts Pithivier into the shade. For some reason I've
got it in my head that it was over 20 euros for one proper beer and
one small one in a bar near the Duomo.

I'd like to go this year to see the new MVs. They're supposed to be
unveiling a 6nn cc triple & a new litre bike that's been tested at over
190bhp at the wheel. There was going to be a supermoto too but that got
    canned unfortunately.

Last year was good because they had all the latest models from the big
Italian manufacturers but if you've not been before it's worth noting
that it's nothing like the NEC, it's a bike show and not a market
where they sell all sorts of tat left over from the previous summer.

We found a hotel that ran a free bus to and from the show and had
plenty of decent bars within walking range. I think it was a cheap
taxi ride to the centre of the city and the walk to the station (train
to the airport) was a pleasant walk through a park and along a couple
of roads with plenty of bars to stop off at. I really enjoyed it and
Adie was happy enough when we found a bar that initially showed
International rugby then an Everton game live.

I love the way a thread on here can go from a bike vid to booze as quickly
    as it does.

I love the way he's just wearing trainers rather than proper boots.

If he'd fucked it up, and pitched over the railing into the traffic
below, it'd be amusing to see how BMW filed their PLI claim...
