Something along the lines of 'did you really need to say "Germany"
    twice?' I would think.

    1. He'll have a nice warm room and a proper bed.

    2. March can be quite sunny, and the mountain restaurants are
    plentiful.

    3. Boarding's piss easy - he's no more likely to fall on his leg than
he is when getting out of his car.

My right knee is completely ripped, damaged cartilage I think. It won't
be repaired before this trip. It isn't stopping me though.

Progress has been quite amazing - saw my physio today, and even she's
impressed. New blog entry to follow, probably.

    Excellent news.

I wish I could say the same. Off to mine later this afternoon for the
second time this week. Can't seem to get rid off the permanently
painful ribcage, but she's trying something a bit different ATM so I'm
hoping we might make some progress.

Your accident was 18 months ago, wasn't it? It makes me realise that
I've been pretty lucky with regard to pain.

Aug 2006. Surgery to remove the metalwork was July 2007. Nearly all my
residual issues are down, not so much to the injury itself, but the 11
months during which my spine was immobilised and all the rib joints
just seized up. That's what we're working on now, and it's certainly
true that my mobility is much improved over the last few weeks.
    Legs are a doddle.

    heh.

I've joked about this, but I'm sure there's something like the
Stockholm Syndrome that develops between patients and physios.

My gf doesn't think it's funny at all.

As I suspected might be the case, the battery was flat. The lights
etc all came on, but not enough juice to spin it over.

    It's on charge...
