In two weeks time I'll be 39 - which means it will have been 21 years
since I last crashed a bike on the road.

In the 12 months prior to that I had five crashes - two smidsys, one
diesel soaked roundabout, one black ice & one flock of sheep (three
guesses where that was). I wonder how much longer it'll be til my
credit with the crash demons runs out...

I'd say you're seriously overdrawn at the bank of lucky and will soon be
faced with a hefty charge; your soul.

39? The triple 13? I'd give myself up to the safety nazis now, IIWY.

Anyway, I'll be 49 in about 3 weeks. 7 times 7 ought to bring me /some/
    luck.

Given the smoking, junk food, complete lack of exercise & high
cholesterol, I doubt the worry will make a lot of difference.

Surely you've now cursed yourself by speaking the unspeakable, you'll
fall off tomorrow. Blimey 21 years is impressive though, I was
congratulating myself the other day on doing 3 years.. two days later I
locked the front wheel although this time didn't bin it.

Arse. Guess I should remove the ladder from the rafters above the bikes
    really.
    ****, that *is* old.

Hopefully the demons will take the number of off-road crashes into
consideration. They're well into triple figures.

Not as old as Auvache, from which I may take some small comfort.

56 isn't old. Well, it won't be when I hit it.

    Preston Kemp expressed the following:
I'm up for the 15th anniversary since my last bin in about three weeks
time. I have _never_ suffered so much as broken skin, never mind broken
bones in any of my crashes, one of which was into the side of an Austin
    Princess (rust must be soft).

There you go I tempted fate too. I'll let you know how I get on.
Assuming they have internet access in hospitals.

Mothball the MV *now*. Stick to the Tiger until your account's in credit
    again.

The MV's mothballed for winter anyway - tucked up under the covers with
its own personal heater & de-humidifier - bless.
