Get Matt to give me a call, my MOT man says they are wankers and he'll
test it as it is, or if needed with a piece of tape on it.

    It's a standard 7 inch round jobby, don't what bike you've got.
It's free to anyone that wants to collect.

  6. My MK2 Escort had my girlfriend's bra wrapped round the exhaust when the
    rubber bit split.

I haven't had a bike in ten years. Feels like it, anyway.

Every single one of them that I've taken a bike to in the last 3 or 4
years. They always put them on the beam checker where I take mine to.
It's one of two things I can't really accurately check myself, along
    with braking efficiency.

What's wrong with you running one over there, dry weather most of the
time and all. You could get a trailie and go playing in the dunes, build
    up some useful off-road skills.

Stop fucking moaning you big tart. All the kin money you should have
you should be able to buy a nice little trailie[1] and permission to
ride it over the dunes out of petty cash. It's yer own fucking fault if
    you don't. No fucking sympathy.

[1] Better still get a Brough Superior and a long white scarf and a
brown gabardine coat and have some "Blaney Baffles the Bedouin" moments.

    Time. Road safety.
This is true. Back to "time", though. I may look into it.

Quite often see quads (illegally) on-road here. Often doing *massive*
    wheelies.

In fact, some of the lads who ride gixxers up and down Gulf Road are
pretty wheelie-tastic. I'm talking stood-up, serious air, beautifully
balanced mile-long wheelies. Better than anything I've seen on-road
    anywhere else.

Exactly as does the headlamp(s) on the Wing, which have now passed 5
    MOTs at different stations.

AFAIUI, straight across is okay, up to the off-side is bad.

  16. I had to run after the silencer when it fell off into the road. I got it
welded back on it the end (the cherry bomb to the pipe) because the bra
    offered no support.

I'll get me mate Abdul to clomp you over the head with a telegraph

Mine does too. The Wing's beam is flat as a pancake, and lines up
perfectly to their chart marked on the board.

If it's too high or low, it gets adjusted, not failed. For free.

Loz, try to source a UK spec headlamp for a hypothetical grey import
    GL1800.

    ISTR quotes itro £2k.

Funnily enough, they didn't cost this much to replace a broken one.

    Allegedly.
