Coming in on a Monday, not having read the group
since Saturday, and only 680 posts?
The EOSM must have caused a mass exodus.

Plus day trippers that makes it a well turned out one then. If it
hadn't have been sunny you might have been in for an Oak Leaf Cluster as
well. Coz if it were in the pissing rain you would have been left all
on yer own with no one to talk to, even more than people do normally
    like.

steve auvache fascinated us all by saying...

Oh, no-one spoke to me anyway, so it was just like any other E/BOSM for
    me.

That's why I don't go. Well, that, the restraining order, the
environmental protection notice, three separate UN resolutions (one
sponsored by the Asia Pacific Union), public opinion and the criminally
low price of ammunition, if I am honest about it.

That as well. Although with the new lenses[1] I intend to buy soon I
reckon I will have seen it and gone the other way.

[1] I am going back to single vision lenses for close work as I am right
pissed off with these varifocal things now they are at the end of their
    useful life.

Mind you I should complain, I met a burd the other day who has got a
pair of binoculars mounted in a frame for anything other than right in
front of her nose, poor kid. By her own admission she tends not to want
to bother taking notice of stuff that is a way away. More than happy to
pass her your number if you want.
