I noticed today that the petrol filler cap on my 'ickle bike seems to be
doing something i can only describe as "bleeding" and "sighing" of petrol.

I have, of course, double checked that i locked it properly after filling it
    up.

So the question is, any suggestions to fix it or will i need to replace the
    filler cap?

    In case it's needed i have a 1989 Yamaha TZR125.

    Thanks in advance!!

  2. Does the tank have a breather pipe, and if so is it blocked?

  3. They're Vance & Hines "Longshots", bought from

    http://www.accessoryinternational.com/

Excellent service from them, and very worthwhile savings over buying
in the UK even if like me you pay the appropriate tax.

Totally off thread... Christopher, where did you get those 'shotgun
pipes' on Gertrude?* I want something similar for the Marauder...

*Last time I saw Gertrude, 2-3 years ago...

My TZR125 used to do the same thing. Also a 1989 G reg.

  7. Can't remember exactly, but £400 including customs when the UK
distributor had quoted £700 sounds about right.
