Bleeding brakes?

Or in my case, WHAT FUCKING BRAKES?

I was out for a Lozzo style bimble[1] around the local countryside this
afternoon. About an hour into the ride I noticed I needed a little more
lever pressure to make the brakes effective, a little while later I
noticed that I couldn't give any more lever pressure, because the brake
lever was coming all the way back to the handlebars every time I used
    them.

So, tomorrow's job is to pull the brakes apart and free off whatever
sticky pistons there are and prepare the calipers for a new set of fluid
    seals.

So much for a nice weekend's riding around on the bike :-(

[1] 'On it' would be a good way to describe today's riding style.

You weren't on the 4011 per chance? Not really local to you though I
    suppose.

  6. I spray a drop of PJ1 blue chain lube down the side of the slave cylinders.
It works a treat at keeping everything working for years.

My Honda rear brake seized up this year, but my Suzuki didn't for a change.

Fair enough that FRN devices don't count, as they're not really brakes.

Curiously, this came up in my newsreader immediately after the question
regarding whether being fucked up the arse with a pineapple was even
    possible.

Made me boggle for a second, it did.

I agree with him, they are good on gixer thous, but maybe they're using
a different master cylinder or something cos I think they are shit on my
bike. I've even got CL pads in there, and they have no bite whatsoever
    now.
I prefered the brakes on my Thunderace, they were fucking excellent. I
could do rolling stoppies from 70mph without realising I was doing them.
I wasn't grabbing the lever hard, I was being especially cautious
because I knew how potent the brakes were, but the rear wheel would
    definitely lift.

I'll fit these new seals and if that doesn't work then the thing is
getting either R1 stylee Sumitomos or something else that is known to
    work really well.
