Bleedin' weather does indeed look crap for France

Bloody great clouds hanging over precisely where we're going, on
    Friday.

Some things never change. Just for once, I'd like a French Run in the
    sunshine, on dry roads.

Oh well: that means it'll be the BMW and not the Ducati this time. At
least that gives me more space for wine and cheese on the run home.

Paging Hog and Scraggy - need an ETA for Thursday night, please.

Well it would be polite to arrive a little before tea time, if you were
planning food. Otherwise to arrive sufficiently later to allow your food to
settle. Will both be off all of Thursday and take the day to travel down.
Might even do some of the distance on Wednesday night.

Yup, food and wine laid on..... I'll be home around 6.30pm, but The
Doctor knows you're coming if you arrive earlier.

Not sure where you're looking, but the KMI says there's a chance of a
shower, but remaining generally dry that day, with temps of 17-18 degrees.
Repeat on Saturday, only a bit warmer.

    In message
Saturday looks OK, but Sunday also looks wet on the GFS run today at
    12:00.

The GEM analysis shows no rain for Firday, but it's too soon for rain
    forecasting for Sat/Sun.

USAF shows wet Fri and dry Sat.

US Navy shows some rain Fri, dry Sat and dry depart Sun but wet back in
    England.

But it is still too early to get anything accurate.

He's just making sure TOG heard him. TOG's getting on y'know and with age
cometh deafness to match the daftness.

It'd be too early for accuracy if they (the Beeb) published their forecasts
2 days after the weather had been and gone.

Maybe August Bank Holiday would be more appropriate than the first May
    one then?

Textiles mostly rock from a practicality POV.
You sound like Jane getting ready for a night out.
