I attended a meeting of the Tarrant County Chapter of TMRA II, last night..
Damn.. some of those Boozefighters are tough hombres.. They rode those
Harley's and some had their wives and girlfriends with them. LOL.. Maybe it
is that I am recovering with a severe case of flu or something, but it was
definitely too damn cold for this old bird to be fanning around on a
motorcycle.. Good meeting Mike, as usual.. Thanks for the opportunity to
    address the group..
My thoughts have finally come together on the president's SOTU address ..
After looking it over carefully and sorting all of it out, I find very
little substance in any part of it.. Bush claims that he doesn't pay
attention to polls, but he declines to suggest that his handlers and
controllers are carefully in compliance with polls and their indicators..The
glaring evidence of this would be the much heralded colony on the Moon and
the manned expedition to Mars.. Not a word about this surprising and
dramatic announcement of a few days ago.. The polls indicated that the pipe
dream to achieve the stature of past presidents would not be well received
and amounted to ridicule for this president.. This SOTU address was nothing
more than a preview of the campaign strategy of this president.. The obvious
blue sky optimism was mostly wishful thinking and had little to do with
reality.. Either this president is so completely insulated, reality isn't
allowed within his presence, or he is incredibly stupid and has no concept
of the pain and grief that his policies have caused the American people and
the world.. Either way, our nation is suffering and the world is not a
better place to live.. Corruption isn't limited to either party, democrat or
republican.. Corruption should be exposed and eleminated wherever it is
discovered.. As it happens, republicans are the party in power and the
corruption of this president and the people he has surrounded himself with,
is monumental.. When your vote is solicited this year, make sure that the
one soliciting that vote deserves and is qualified for your support..
Democrat or Republican, the corruption in our government must be curtailed
and the corrupt should be driven out of office.. certainly not elected to
office.. Congratulations again, Mike, on an excellent meeting and much luck
for the upcoming Legislative Workshop ..
