s'cos it was, apart from theobvious blackness, a very ginger thing

out of shame at still not getting mine turned black, you mean? I think
the forks on the k3 are more gold than bronze, but apart from that
mine will be every bit as black[1]. More so, in fact, as I don't think
I'll bother with any logos...

[1] Although I won't be respraying the tank, but it has a black baglux
cover anyway.

There was a guy on the Snetterton trackday this week who had a
gixxer 750 with RG race fairing on it in matt black - it looked
very, very nice. You can see it in this pic:
