I've seen one parked outside, amongst the CG125s and SOBs.

  4. Last Pioneer Run I went to, there were half a dozen from the OC, all
    parked in echelon.

    God, I'd like one.

Chap from my bowls club said he used to ride a Black Shadow from Sussex
over to Bristol and back *every* day to work, for a while, back in the 50s.

Exactly. He said he certainly didn't hang around. It probably explains
his almost permanent toothless grin and the fact one can hardly understand a
word he says. But that might also be the Glasgow accent. :)

  11. interestingly, the rear suspension on the RD350 is uncommonly like the back
end of a vincent. The series D vinnie even has a big monoshock, rather than
2 springs and a separate damper like the earlier ones.

reowrked SOBoxer to summat similar, in fact, using a Quantum Dynamics shock
to RD350 specs, and a custom brace on the swinging arm.

    this has proved amazingly effective.

    I *love* that cartoon

Don't get me started on Ogri cartoons again. Someone *must* have them
on the web somewhere - I still lament the loss of the little booklet I
got with bike a decade or two ago.

You should've bought my old man's RTV at the Stafford show then! Bored
out 1,197cc engine, Terry Prince designed Egli-type frame, Ohlins shock,
Paoli usd forks, Dymags, Brembo gold lines. It didn't make the reserve,
so it's still available if you want to make an offer...

Arrgh. Complete brain fart on my part.

Of course, Ogri is unfunny shite.

I meant, of course, Shobba (as per Weggy's original post).
