It's more when I'm actually short of sleep. Or is that what you meant?
A former girlfriend used to get really obsessed with how I never got angry.
I tried faking it once, but she could tell it wasn't the real thing.

If I can arrange to have an argument in an open area, with nothing breakable
to hand, I'll let you know haw it goes.

She wouldn't fit in the letterbox, and by the time the post office would be
open, she'd have kicked her way out.

That's exactly what I meant, I'm saying that if it's a planned lack of
sleep, I can put the grumpiness to one side. If, on the other hand, I'm
in a state of lack of sleep through something I can't do anything
about... I get grumpy until either I fix the situation of catch up on my
    sleep. :)
I think I only ever got angry once, when I was in my teens, that's not
unusual for people in their teens though.

I rarely get grumpy due to lack of sleep, however I do become more
absent minded, and tend to treat almost everything as some kind of
critical situation, in an over-energetic way.

6 hours sleep and I'm good for just about anything.

    9 minimum.

And that is not an old age thing either. Mind you I can easy do a 20
    hour day after.

Although I am the one who had the quad bypass at 50 so perhaps the 20
hour day wasn't such a good idea as it seemed at the time.

I don't care even if it is Christmas, if you think for a moment I am
going to give you the satisfaction of being called a **** before you
call me one you are wrong.

Mind you if you were to beg for it.....
