I wanna add a note,to my Arkansas Ozark trip post, that we rode over the
    Memorial Weekend.
We're riding behind Angie and Keith on their Harley, and something looks
like it hit Angie on her right side.
At first, It looked like a swarm of something, like bees, or something.
It rurned out to be a Bird. It flew quickly from the road shoulder right
    into Angie.
The swarm looking deal, turned out to be bird feathers and bird shit.
This is a first for me. I've had many a bird to fly in front of me, and
I would think, ‘‘is it gonna hit me??? ’’
The bird that hit her, was the average size.
It would be bad, if a bigger bird hit a rider, especially the driver.
    Like a buzzard, right?
If a big ole bird, flys directly into the face of a Rider, it could
    cause a dangerous situation. (bjay)

    Define average size. 8^)
    It could...
    Doesn't have to...BTDT. Back in 83' I had an
elevator pigeon (you know those rock pigeons that
hang out at grain elevators) fly up and hit me
square in the face. Being a fashionable git I was
wearing a Bell 3/4 helmet...laid me flat out on
the seat of my old T-500. Sat up grabbed the bars
and STOPED! Got off composed myself, checked for
    injuries etc.

Lucky me...not a scratch. No blood and guts
either, frankly that was weird. No the thrice
damned pigeon from hell didn't survive. To this
day I HATE pigeons and my favorite song is
"Poisoning Pigeons in the Park" by Professor Tom
    Leher.

For a minute there, I thought you were talking about Bill Walker.
