  1. Tis a pity you're queer; you'd have pulled there.
    Do be careful, 00droppedit.

I hope you feel better soon geeza. At least you weren't sick over the
WPC, as for the crying, apparently men do that, so the rough tough
fishermen did on discovery channel the other day.

A hot cup of coffee, some cake and a friendly bunch of cable ties /
bolts / spanners and such are available, should you be round Brighton
way at any time, and need that sort of thing.

I can only say the same as most of the rest - Please be
careful, you don't know if your supply of good luck is
    unlimited.
How about taking up enduro riding? Log jumping included
and falling over a lot considered quite normal.
What the safety nazis (me included) and the helmet
companies tells you is to get rid of a helmet as soon as
it has been in any accident at all. At least I'd take a real
good look at the helmet to look for any sign of impact.

  6. In uk.rec.motorcycles, BGN amazed us all with this pearl of wisdom:
Sounds like you're ok though, prolly a lot shaken up, mind. That ER-5
has earnt notoriety, that's for sure!
Yup. I collapsed and (just about avoided throwing up) has a bloody mess
all around last time I had a big off. The police I saw just drove right
    on by though.
Indeed, but the lady ambulance driver was a top chick.
Are they like your lucky pants and covered in holes? :)
    Well done mate and GWS!

Someone suggested it, but I think Snowy got it on snow/ice or summut
    It's almost indestructable.

I haven't had a good selfish cry for over two years. Today's effort
was the first shed since then, but wasn't the good one that's been
    building up.
Thanks for the kind offer. Before I siezed up totally I took it out
for a good fast hoon for twenty minutes (in the rain) after dark and
it's all working after a quick re-adjustment to the bar muffs.

The rear brake didn't work at all but I'm putting that down to this
morning. A quick road-side adjustment and it's going again now, but
when I'm on a hill and stop on the rear brake the bike will move back
a couple of inches and the rear pedal will sink with the movement.
Upon starting off use of the rear brake doesn't appear to produce
anything until one pushes it past the point it previously sank to
where it will suddenly apply full pressure and push the pedal right up
again. I can, however, let the brake pedal sink, then keep it pressed
down while I move off to the point where the bike has moved a few
inches forward and the pedal will work correctly. Not sure how that's
    happened.

I'd like to have a go at off-roading but there' nothing near me that
is suitable. Heaven knows what kind of bike they'd need for someone
    my size.
I don't recall my head hitting anything apart from coming to a halt on
the mud on the central reservation with a slide. I wouldn't call it a
thump. I've cleaned it up and the only thing that feels different is
a small scratch that I can trace with my finger nail where the mud
    was.

It was just bigger than the width of the lane and has some blue
writing sprayed on it, not that one can make out any of the lettering.
It looked like a part of some scaffolding, but there's nothing local
to the area that I know that has any scaffolding up. I assume it must
have fallen off of a lorry that had recently used the exit. The
roundabout isn't anywhere near a residential area and isn't anywhere
where humans would walk. There weren't any groups of people (or any
people at all) around apart from me (that I remember) so I don't think
kids had put it there so they could watch and giggle.
    It's fine. :)

Doesn't sound like an impact situation, I wouldn't bother replacing it.
Check the inside of the liner. ITYF that it is painted black over the
white poly foam inner liner. If there is star cracking of the black
paint layer then think carefully about whether you did impact anything.
Impact usually shows up on that black paint layer as star cracking. If
the black coating is clean and even then there's a good chance you
    didn't impact anything.

Shock and stress can both do strange things to a person. Although the
shock of an accident doesn't always come out straight after the event,
    be careful.
Heh.. that reminds me, I need to make some of those for my CG125. I'll
do something about it when I next service the thing.
Sounds a bit strange, has something been knocked out of line or bent I
wonder? I'd check the rear wheel alignment, and have a look for a bent
torque arm (the bit of metal that stops the brake drum from going round
when you put the brake on).

I like to think I was shocked at the event and emotional coupled with
the very low temperature which caused a sudden drop in blood pressure
which in turn made me go all queer.

It's yours complete with bar muffs and a full tank of petrol for just
    £4,000.
My last couple were okay. Quite cheery and chirpy, especially when
the got the spinal board out in April. "Shuffle up a bit Nick, this
    board isn't long enough"
Oh yes, but these are caused by road surfaces.

Well I don't think there has ever been a restriction on the number of
applications so even if you don't qualify you can always try again.

It seems to bounce well enough, you have got away quite cheap for your
    ever growing list of exploits.
