binned hyabusa (SP)

    sitting outside the local hospital with son, who'd just broken his collar
    bone while trying to leave the ktm via the front wheel, and in comes this
    poor bloke with a broken ankle...
    when I say broken I mean his foot was at 90' to his shin in the wrong
    direction, and that was with his boot still on... I felt the pain just
    looking at it, worse still his hyabusa is toast...

    Isn't that what motorcycle boots do though? If they can't protect, they
    break the bones in your leg
    rather then the ones in your ankle, the theory being somehing like those
    heal better then the ankle?

    Funnily enough my mate Alan high sided his Busa this afternoon. He has a
    fractured ankle and wrist...

    His bike is not toast though. They slide lovely once right over...
