Website is a bit shite but the cafe has now lost the Ogri theme
(blessing) and just sells decent grub and bike gear.

Steve Wesson used to be the Guzzi specialist in Brighton but he's moved
out to Horam and moved away from Guzzis. Gary in the workshop is still
*the* man to see about Guzzi spannering.

It's nice isn't it - I loved the roads round there.

Though the sharp, uphill (or down depending) was interesting in the car -
did think it would be a right laugh on a bike though.

    Champ says...
You'd make a very good salesman with a little training.

There you go, add another one to the list.

Land's End was shit, but had adequate parking.
Lizard Point was much better, but parking was "interesting".

St Ives, generally, rocked. Restaurants, art galleries, pubs and
ocean - what more could I ask for?

  6. I'm more impressed that you use your tachometer as a distance recorder
    ;-))

I've been. Very interesting I thought. Got some cracking close-up
    pictures of tropical flowers.

My take exactly. At Lands End the tacky tourist attractions serve to
do nothing but detract from the landscape. No surprise that it's run
as a tourist attraction ("legendary" my arse) whereas the Lizard is
    National Trust territory.

    [re. Eden Project]
I called into Exeter services yesterday to clean the dead flies off
the visor and fill the VFR up. The Eden project had a portakabin type
building selling tickets that are valid any date and let you avoid
queuing once at the project. I don't know if it's a permanent thing,
or just there for this weekend.

Yeah, I took it down a day or so afterward because I get charged for
excess bandwidth and didn't want to risk going over the limit. Got a
few other things that needed hosting instead.
