Yep.. as it turns out.. she was absolutely right when she vetoed the Bill..
It kept idiots like you from packing .. for a while.. You've got as much
business carrying a weapon as I've got, flying a 747..

I'll buy that for a dollar. Like I said it's been
a while and didn't make much of a blip on my radar
at the time. I do recall it being passed over once
or twice before Luby's but that is all I recall.
DACH only got 4 of the critical patients. The rest
were trampling casualties. I assisted on one of
the gunshot victims that went to DACH...without
violating patient confidentiality I can say that
the person was shot in the face and buttocks.

No it was the one in 93'. Asshole drove truck
through the front of Luby's. As for the lying
piece of shit walker, that boy wouldn't know what
to do in that situation. I was in Iraq in 90/91
got my two campaign stars and frankly am sick of
Brian Walkers lying. Next thing you know he'll
claim to have met me. 8^) If he had he'd never
open his mouth...lying little retail paying ****.

You're full of shit! George Hennard drove his truck through the front of
    the Luby's in October '91.

A simple search will reveal that!

    http://www.chron.com/content/chronicle/metropolitan/96/10/15/lubys.html

What? Do you believe they do that every two years because the Governor
didn't sign the concealed license bill?
Again, you're full of shit! You can't be half way around the world
"defending freedom" while earning medals and in Killeen saving lives....all
at the same time. It doesn't work that way, jackass!

You were a "nothing" during your military days and you're a nothing now.
Give it up, Stevie! I wouldn't care anything about meeting you. You're a
little lying coward dumbass who makes up a little fantasy world trying to be
    someone you're not!

  7. Actually the CHL never reached her desk. The legislature never passed the
measure during her 4 years. However when the legislature put a resolution on
there for the voters to show their support for CHL or not, AR did strike
    that down.

  8. Actually she didn't want to wear the helmet during the safety class she
took. Didn't like the fact it would mess up her hair. But she did take and
pass the course with a helmet.

  9. That's her earliest involvement I could find as well - killing the
non-binding referendum in late 1993. If she did anything else
official regarding CHL prior to that, I don't remember it and I can't
    find it.

    And you won't find it.

To people like Mark Johnson and Stevie Schiffner, she's to blame for
everything from helmets being mandatory to a guy driving a pickup through a
    Luby's and killing 20 people.

Funny, but people are still being shot even with the CHL being in place for
a number of years. It hasn't seemed to make much of an impact one way or the
other. According to the "gun nuts" out there like Mark Johnson we were going
to be crime free in this state because we would have people "armed".

LOL.... You don't remember too well, do you ? Mark Johnson has never aimed
a gun at anyone in his life.. He's never had a gun aimed at him.. Mark
Johnson recently posted another figment of his own imagination, about a
mythical trip to Iraq.. Seems Mark Johnson and his stalwart companions flew
into one of the airports in that country and were standing on the tarmac
when someone commenced shooting at something.. Johnson and his brave
companions dug holes in the tarmac with their bellies while it was going
    on..

Mark Johnson is the epitome of a Wannabe and that includes his supposed
exploits on motorcycles.. Isn't it a bit strange that NO ONE has claimed to
have ridden with Johnson ?.. Isn't it quite unusual that Mark Johnson will
use any excuse to avoid association with ANYONE who is known to ride ? From
the pictures of Mark Johnson which I've seen.. he looks like a Space Ranger
when he's around a motorcycle.. Besides being badly overweight, he just
appears to be a pussy with a complex.. LMAO.. what a joke..

Two days ago, you were sure that if she'd signed the CHL into law then no
one would've been shot at the Luby's in Killeen. As it turns out, the
shooting happened two years prior to anything being addressed by Ann
Richards in regards to the CHL. And according to you, you were in Iraq at
    the time anyway.

Could it be that you also forgot the "particulars" of where you were October
16th 1991? Could it be that Stevie lied...again? Could it be that Stevie was
trying to be someone he's not and never has been?

You should hear the story about how the host shop for the HOG chapter
that I was then a member of was trying to give the bike to her. Her
dweeb assistant was trying to make arrangements so that HE could present
it to her during the media circus. When the owner of the shop stopped
him and said, WE'RE donating the bike. I will present it to her, the
assistant started crawfishing. 2 days later the shop was called and told
that state law didn't allow the gov to accept such things and that it
could be donated to the DPS but not the gov. IIRC the media circus was
canceled but at least the DPS was able to use the bike as a PR gimmick
    to raise rider education awareness.

Probably what we're all "remembering" is that it was a tough battle and
that several efforts were short shrifted after Annie made it clear it
would be vetoed if it ever got to her desk (so work on something else
    instead).
