Whoops... Leave Waco out of it.. He hasn't done anything to worry about..
hmmm.. Reads kinda like you need to cover your clever ass .. though..

Selling personal property on ebay is great, as long as you have the
permission to sell from the owner..<giggle> Now.. I don't remember giving
you that "permission".. do you ? You'd think that a high profile
professional like yourself, would have considered all that before you made
    the plunge.

Yeah, Bill already knows I have it...and intend to give it to him at some
    point.
I just need the right venue for that. Maybe a framed certificate or
    something to make it official.

Reads kinda like ol' Andrew didn't quite cover all his bases when he got
clever enough to sell something on ebay.. hmmm.. ah well..

Correct. If the crossposting would stop, I'd never see a post from
tx.moto and they'd never see one of mine. I guess I could do some more
reading up on the score file to get rid of cross posted posts, but as
long as those w punks are messing up a group I enjoy, I'll keep up with
the occasional comeback. I don't "see" *them* anymore but sure see a
lot of their bs in responses like this one. Go away little punks,
you're not wanted here (or anywhere for that matter).

So sue me. You're gonna be the beneficiary, you get the badge when
    Wakko gives it to you!

I didn't post it, if you recall.. You didn't post it.. It was already in
public domain .. I was aware of Burnore and accused him of what was on
record as reported to me.. In order to access the information, you didn't
have to access a secure database..

I've not declared any intention to sue anyone.. There are legal issues being
raised from sources that may or may not feel compromised.. Law enforcement
agencies contend their secure databases may have been compomised and
    indicate they have an interest..

Other interested parties have raised copyright issues, etc. The ISP's and
providers are interested because the copyright issues affect them as the
hosts of the participants who enthusiastically engaged in this little rodeo,
yesterday.. Altered photographs that are specifically posted with intent to
damage images and reputations are what they are mostly concerned with..

I am particularly naive about computers , copyrights and those issues .. but
I'm being educated pretty quickly.. Interestingly enough.. the players who
were burning up this newsgroup for the past two days, are strangely quiet,
today.. One of those providers which is host for two of the players, that I
know of, has indicated that accounts are being canceled.. hmmm I don't
    know..

To me.. the unfortunate result is not the cancellations of accounts,
lawsuits or the other consequences we are reading about.. but the affect of
what all this will have on a newsgroup that has and should be an open forum
and not subject to domination by any group or entity.. Two newsgroups are
under scrutiny because of eagerness and enthusiasm to assassinate characters
and cross any boundaries to do so.. In this case .. it seems to be consensus
those legal lines have been compromised.. if not outright violated.. Again..
    I don't know..

I don't have to "prove" anything.. Evidently .. the ebay declarations speak
for themselves.. <grin> I don't use ebay.. never had an account with them
and never bought or sold anything there.. I've never seen that famous
"badge" thing.. First I even knew of it was long about the time Waco told
    me, he'd bought it..

You can rest assured that I WILL answer any and all questions which will be
asked about the affair..You are the self proclaimed "high profile and
motivated professional " If you have nothing to worry about, then don't..

Obviously you do have something on your clever mind or you wouldn't be
    expressing concern .. Interesting..

I'm not the one that may be exposed in this little episode.. huh ? And I'm
not the one that might be losing the ebay account .. That in itself could be
costly, if you are established with them.. and use them extensively to buy
and sell.. Actually.. you should be explaining and excusing all these
declarations to ebay rather than to me.. They'll make their own decisions as
to the outcome, not me.. The cleverness which you clowns have impressed each
other with has backfired, evidently .. Have the best day that you can.. Are
we really having "fun" yet ?

I would think you would be happy to know that the money went to your
*local* MSF, but I guess that doesn't matter to you.

Go for it though. I'll play along. I'm waiting with baited breath to
    hear from Ebay.

Whooo I'm exposed. Everyone knew who put that auction up...Hell I
posted it to the group....You've exposed me now!

Neither am I. You see Ebay has a great sense of humor, and parody is
included in the first ammendment. Now that you've made yourself into a
"reeky celebrity" you expose yourself to parody.

.. That in itself could be
I don't need to...Everything was legal. And you get the badge...and you
get money donated to your *local* MSF in your name! Again, sue me, or
thank me, cause that penny's worth of tinfoil might actually do some good.

I'm having a blast. Lemme clue you into something. My eBay account is
not my credit record, I can start up a new one in an instant.

Ohh the eBay police might be after me, I'm shaking.

Mistaking "retarded" for cleverness isn't a virtue..

I'm not sure that I understand all I know about everything that is unfolding
    on these two newsgroups..

Yesterday.. these players were all posting like mad and expressing their
enthusiasm and ejoyment with all the "fun" that was being demonstrated..
Today.. these two newsgroups are strangely still and quiet.. There must be a
reason for it.. In the past, these same players have expanded the ruthless
gang beatings for days and weeks .. while they has so much fun at others
    expense..

I don't really know what to attribute all this stillnes and absence of fun
loving Live to Flame and Flame to Live proponents..It has been suggested
that some have had accounts cancelled.. I don't know.. Some may merely be
distancing themselves from the circus that has been going on since
January..Whatever the reason, it is obvious that lines have been crossed..
    ethical and legal..

Whatever the results will be, effects will be felt on these two newsgroups
by everyone and there are no winners.. There have surely been losers,
again.. that's not for me to say.. The only possible winners just might be
the many posters who've tried to use the medium to associate and mingle with
others who share their same enthusiasm for motorcycles.. They've been the
ones who've been intimidated, insulted and embarrassed by the Live To Flame
and Flame to Live crowd.. For what it's worth.. they only have themselves to
blame.. no one caused them to alter photographs .. into obscene caricatures
and post them to embarrass or humiliate.. No one advised them to violate a
secured government site, to obtain documents not intended to be accessed by
unauthorized entry.. That's the reason it is a secured site.. No one
prompted them to alter or release the anonymous document to an unsecured
location, for the purpose of embarrassing and ruining the reputation
    anyone..

Recourse seems to have not been accounted for and it is amazing how swiftly
    the accountablity was forthcoming..
