Here in CT we have the CMRA. Similiar mission to TMRA as far as I can tell.
As far as I know, they've never used that term before. Is it just a TX
    thing?

Exactly. And, as with any pejorative term, it loses all meaning when employed
scattershot style, as a general term of disparagement against a large group of
    people.

    See:

    "You're all posers!"
    "You're all phonys!"
    "You're all whiners!"
    "You're all wannabes!"
    "You're all anonymous!"

Not a bad idea actually. I use mine whenever I leave the country. On the
Sate Dept site it mentions other documents that I assume are used for cross
border commerce under NAFTA that will be accepted as well.

My last trip to Cold Lake was memorable...

ROTFL... That razor sharp legal mind, sure causes you to have some wild
fantasies.. There has been NO defense of anything .. especially from me..
Any impression by you, that I am cowering and defensively reacting to all
this, is a figment of your imagination.. <evil grin> Matter of fact, I've
almost hurt my old self rolling around in spasms of laughter .. especially
when that "incrimating document" was forwarded to me..

In contrast .. every post that you've blessed us with, has been directed
towards DEFENDING your little "pals" disgusting behavior in public.. Even
though .. ensuing posts have revealed different providers and ISP's being
used by some of these little Live to Flame and Flame to Live enthusiasts..
you continue to flood two newsgroups with all the defenses that will
insulate them .. hmmm. Besides all that.. doofus.. I've declared that
calling abuse report gizmos isn't my strong suit .. but some of your "chums"
typically use that threat on a regular basis.. That one and the dreaded
"Kill file" threat is prolific on Reeky..

Results of your usenet legal advice is causing a whole lot of loss of Flame
War time, while your "clients" try to recover dropped accounts and remain

They could have used a less derisive phrase in their attempt to
solicit support. By extension of the Welfare Rider premise we could
all be accused of being a Welfare (insert right or privilege here)if
we are not personally involved in the creation or protection of that
    right.

Since we enjoy an abundance of personal rights clearly there is not
enough time in the day to be actively involved in all of them. To be
derided by the TRMAII because I might choose to lend my financial
support and/or volunteer time to underprivileged children instead of a
riders rights group tells me all I want to know about that particular
    organization.

What's important is we recognize most of us want for little, while we
enjoy the fruits of our labour, and are willing to give back to the
community in whatever way we can. Personally I set my priorities for
charitable work a little higher than ensuring the legislation is in
place to give some RUB a break on his insurance and the right to ride
    in an HOV lane.

That's me. If you choose to lobby for riders rights, go nuts. I
applaud your efforts, but don't call me a welfare rider because I do
not actively support you. My charitable efforts are directed
    elsewhere.

Me too.. hmmm.. Strange that all the supposedly "instructors" and wizards of
motorcycling handling skills on Reeky, have consistently posted stories
about their collisions with other vehicles, pedestrians, sand dunes,
livestock and any other objects that happened to be in their area of bike
    handling skills..

Unfortunately.. I can't justify my credibility with a long list of
motorcycles I've owned.. my impression is, all of you wizards need to own
several motorcycles, so that you've got a back up when you crash..

Since reading some of the accounts of all these exciting examples of
motorcycling mishaps, I've sought out a drunk, dope crazed and suicidal
pedestrian to run over.. Deer or other livestock which are prolific in my
area.. and any other vehicle which I could run into.. just so I could
profess myself as an instructor of future bike handlers.. Maybe .. I could
join this elite group, and become another member of the Live to Flame and
    Flame to Live society..

Again and unfortunately.. each time one of these incidents has presented
itself to me, the intinct of survival has interceded and I somehow avoided
the collision.. alas .. I can't boast about such remarkable achievements...

My current ride is one that I bought out of the box over eight years ago..
hmmm.. detailed it myself and periodically receive comments "Nice bike,
those new bikes are nice aren't they.." This old Vulcan has some highway
knicks in the paint that no one but me notices, but since becoming a
subscriber to rec.motorcycles and reading all these postings from this
little group of "experts" .. I've been tempted to at least break a light
lense and make some kind of post, describing hours of repair and replacement
of damaged parts.. Content of that post should contain vivid description of
superb bike handling skills just before I hit the animal, woman, livestock
or other vehicle.. ROTFLMAO.. Nah.. think I will direct my respect toward
the folks that can say that they've never fucked up bad enough to run into
    anything..

Anyone who claims he's never fucked up and dropped a bike or had a close
encounter, hasn't ridden one of these things much.. Anyone who claims he
never fucked up, but he tore his goddamed motorcycle all to hell and hit
another vehicle or pedestrian is just a fucking liar..and trying to impress
another fucking liar with his bullshit.. ..
