Here is a copied message from BARF in regard to Krusty:
    ____________________________
    R.I.P. Bill (aka Krusty)
I'm sad to announce that William "Bill' Rhinehard, a.k.a. Krusty, a
long time member of both the motorcycle and music community in SF has
passed. He died a natural death after suffering from ill health for
    the last few years...

While he was not an official BARF'r(as in having his own acct) he
frequented BARF since the early days and posted on my and other's
    accts.

After leaving the Air Force in the early 70's(including service in
Vietnam) Bill came to SF, he was a store manager at Tower Records both
here and L.A. in the 70's and 80's until he decided that he would
rather work on bikes. He was also the bass player in the band Boss
Hoss. After attending MMI(back when it was actually a school and not
what it is now) he worked mainly at Mars Custom Cycle and then until a
couple of year ago at Subterranean Cycles.

He was also the person behind the "Krusty the Mechanic" column in
    "Independent Biker"....

Although he was originally a two stroke guy he became an expert on
Harley Sportsters and would even work on Buells. That's the kind of
    guy he was.

While Bill may have been somewhat abrasive on the outside he was a
softie on the inside. His love of dogs, esp .rescues was epic.

His love of Hard Rock, I mean real music was undimnished till the end,
he had forgotten more about music than I ever knew. We were supposed
    to go see(NSFW in Mexican)
these dudesbut the show was cancelled. He was finding and turning
people on to different music till the end.

Bill is survived by his sister, her children, and her grand children.

He is sorely missed by his friends....

If Heaven is perfect there will be no Viragos'...

    Later Bill....
