Failing to tighten a brake lever properly.

A butterfly flaps its wings in Szechuan and LN gets rogered senseless in
    Germany.

    What, it wasn't in Germany?

    An excellent, well-argued point.

    I am obliged.

He's been very quiet on that front so I'm hoping he's going to appear
on Saturday night when I can ply him with alcohol and make him think
    it's a good idea.

So have you seen sense and done the "other thing". I see it's sold.

I don't think it is sold - the auction just says 'ended'.

And, like everyone else, I'm keeping some money by atm. Which, of
course, is part of the cause of the recession!

Hell, yeah. The only way out is that the people with some disposable
income (you, me, most of ukrm etc) start to spend what they've got but
no-one seems to want to start the ball rolling.

With interest rates going down, I'm actually starting to think about
what I'm spending now that I don't just think "ooh, that's another £xxx
I've earned in interest this month", as I was while back.

It was £18k for a corker of a car. That isn't careful it's careless.

I actually saw FEM1 80Y on a BMW convertible on the M1 one day, being
driven by the campest, most blatant raving homosexual you've ever
clapped eyes on. He made BGN look like a baddy from a Guy Richie film.

I'm using the money I have in the bank to pay off the credit cards that
    put it there.

It's the end of an era, I tell you.

Anti-stoozing? It will never catch on.

Anyway, everything I hear and read about the financial crisis seems to
be that (the royal) we need to borrow more to get us out of the mess
that borrowing got us into in the first place.
