Unlucky to kill two though even without lids. You wouldn't have thought
you'd be going at any great speed three up on a 125. It's a shame the
regrets that the relatives are showing now didn't extend to stopping
    them in the first place.

Bloody easy to, if they weren't wearing helmets. Three-up, and only one
    helmet between them, FFS.

Parents probably had no idea, mind. And the bike might have been
    stolen.

Oh well, Darwinism in action. And it's in the Frozen North so it
    doesn't really matter.

No helmets? Crazy, bet they aint even done a CBT. I'll have a read in
    the local rag tonight.

If it's not nicked, the parents will have surely paid for the bike, so
must know if the fuckwit had a helmet or not.

  7. There's nothing to suggest the bike was stolen (and they deserved to
crash), just some teenage fuckwittery gone wrong, like we've all done.
I'd bet both the pillion and the lad on the rack/mudguard leaned the
    wrong way.

The tributes are nauseating, though. People shouldn't be allowed to
express themselves like that, it's inconsiderate to those who've just
    had their lunch.

Well said. We've all been there and done that when we were young
teenagers. I recall being taken around our local recreation ground when
I was about 13 or 14 on my sister's GT250, with 3 other people on it,
none of us had helmets. Me and my best mate taught his little sister to
ride his TS50 across the rec when she was 10, none of us wore a lid then
    either.
    Don't eat lunch.

  9. We've all done silly stuff, but running around three-up, in this
weather, with one helmet between you, is just asking to get nicked.

People without taste or education will leave these kind of messages. What
pisses me off is that the BBC has taken to reporting every mawkish word of
them. I suppose they think it's connecting with "the people".

It happens every day, on every road, and yes, it's sad, but I can't
    honstly say I'm sorry.

Am I just a sad git?

    Yeah.. nicked, not fucking killed.

I remember not so long ago how people on here were applauding the yoof for
still doing "wot we did when we were kids". Of course, if they'd been
suvern softies, they would've been wearing lids coz their mummies and
    daddies would've asked them to.

A girl was killed on a bike near a travelling fun fair oop 'ere about 4
fucking years ago, and people STILL hang flowers from the lamp post she
hit. Same thing a few hundred yards down the road outside a garage where a
lad didn't get round a (very slight) corner and ran into another lampost.
Flowers there still and it's been at least 2 years.

  14. I did some fucking stupid things, but riding three-up, helmetless,
    wasn't one of 'em.

  16. True, I was never daft enough to ride 3-up, helmetless. 6-up now, that's
    different.

    When I was a similar age I rode a CX500 just over 15 miles to a party
with a pillion and another passenger sitting behind them. People have
always done this sort of thing and just assumed they'd get away with
it. My parents obviously didn't know and certainly wouldn't have been
    able to stop me.
