Good idea but its not illegal to overtake on the left on multi lane
    roads in Aus.

You are NOT allowed to stop in the breakdown lane to answer or make a
    phone call.

    Geezzz!

  3. The only things preventing that being a classic catch 22 situation are call
diversion and the off button on the phone:)
    Hands free?
    Maybe.

    What's the catch-22?
It's not where your hands are, but where your brain is.

Quite simple really. Turn off phone, start vehicle, proceed to
destination, stop vehicle, turn on phone, check messages.

Of course, on a bike, you don't have any other choice, but it works
for me in the car as well.

My bike will start even if the phone is still switched on. But then, it's
    fuel-injected.

Since we're getting picky, you may note that I carefully put the two
possible options in as two (2) separate questions. You still managed
to **** up the answer. :)

  12. Or just ignore the ringing and let it go to voice mail, easy.

  13. While riding the bike, I tried a feature on my phone, where you could wear a
handsfree kit(earpiece/mike) and set the phone to answer automatically after
a few rings. It was very disturbing as you never heard any ringing, just
someone talking in your ear with no warning. Was fine up to 80kmh, but I
gave up, it wasn't that important, as mobile phones aren't.
