    you're right, also, that the Yamaha had a seriously fragile engine...

    It's a curiosity thing. Someone asks for a suggestion and gets a list
    like the above one and it sets me wondering what the suggestions are
    based on. In my experience you can either suggest a bike based on
    riding it yourself or base it on someone else riding the bike and
    telling you what it was like. The other alternative is the old
    fashioned "it looks suitable" which (imo) is about as much use as a
    wet fart in one piece leathers.

    Your list (along with others) doesn't indicate what it's based on so
    in all honesty it could be the last one I mentioned.
