I live in an island with a reasonably efficient police force (unless
you happen to know someone who knows someone in which case it's
amazing what it seems you can get away with) so doing excessive speeds
is both interesting (in the death wish kind of way), likely to lead to
legal issues and, of course for me, high speed is impossible anyway).

Therefore, any suggestions for something that might be fun in a silly
kind of way at slow speeds?

Something like an RS125 (or even RS50)...?

    A GSX-R 1000 is, of course, a possibility :)

I must say that I'm rather tempted with one of those ridiculous three
wheeled scooters piaggio have released... and I can even fit (and
possibly cook) a crab under the seat.

Careful where you put the crab though.

  6. The trailie is the obvious answer but if it is real trills you want may
I be so bold as to suggest a scoot, unsafe at any speed sort of thing.

CR500 hybrid geared down to a top speed of 40mph[1].

[1] You'll have to have a custom rear sprocket made, but the saving in
front tyres will cover the cost.

An RS125, in full power 33bhp mode, will need a handful of throttle,
and with a 35mph speed limit I don't know how often you'll get to
experience the powerband as it starts at 8k rpm.

My first bike was a Suzuki TS50 - that had a 35mph top speed and went
    greenlaning after a fashion.

I'd go with the outfit, as you can get that sliding around in a car
    park.
