Biker down - how do I turn off Datatool?

I've just got back from recovering an '07 ZZR1400 that's in a bit of a
sorry state after he planted it in the back of SWMBO's car.

How do I turn off the alarm? It's some kind of datatool jobby, the
keyhole has got 'Kawasaki Security' written around it. The key fob says
Datatool type blade 433 wiv two buttons - can it be permanently turned
off - ferry mode or anything?

I've just trailered it round to ours for safe keeping with the alarm
    screaming away.

Poor bloke's been helicoptered off with at least a busted collarbone,
    hopefully nothing more serious.

Thanks - setting it (I think) then pressing the other button results in
several (I think three) flashes of the indicators, but the red light in
the console continues to flash - is that set or unset now? Anyways, at
least it's stopped squarking for the moment.

Was all a bit of a shock, but he didn't have recovery so it seemed to
be the right thing to do. Initially I ended up with his wallet and all
personal belongings which I felt a bit uncomfortable with so gave them
    back to plod.

He was out with a bunch of others raising money for the blood biker
group - perhaps he might switch to helicopter funds now.

I'd guess the red flashing light means that the alarm is active but if
it has shut up I'd leave it at that.

Thames Valley Air Ambulance is my default charity these days. I owe
    them, big time.

Yeah, they collect the bodies you leave behind :)

You may jest. I've seen it called out twice now and on one of those
occasions it left empty. Not my fault, that time.

  8. Wtf cares? Rip the wiring loom out if it annoys you. It shouldn't be
    your problem.

Luckily I've only seen an Air Ambulance up close up once and that was
at Brands. It didn't leave empty but might have well have done as it
    turned out. ;-(

This was a few years back and I'm embarrassed to say I don't remember
his name (we were there as tourists rather than followers as such).

I think it was a Superbike meet of some sort and the morning was ok
but became rainy during the afternoon.

I think there was a bit of a coming together in the middle of the
(long?) cct where there is a left hander opposite the main straight,
, up a hill and down under a bridge before going into a right hander.
I think someone hit the bridge and hence the outcome. ;-(

    Raceday was stopped after that.

We had been walking round the cct and watching it from many different
points and hadn't long left watching from the bridge itself. You could
feel the pulse of air as they went under your feet at what I believe
was one of the fastest parts of the cct.

Big shame but all part of the game I guess.
