    Hi.

Please pardon my post I am just looking for quick bit of advice.

In january a stationary car pulled out and did a u-turn in front me
with no indicating and obviously didnt look.
I hit the side of the car at about 20mph. Thers was £2500 worth of
cosmetic damage to my 2004 CBR600RR. All fairing was damaged,
headlights scratched, mirrors and indicators busted and a few other
bits and pieces. I was still able to drive it to my garage afterwards
    though.

I will get the bike back this weekend, with all damaged parts replaced
courtesy of third partys insurer, thanks to me getting a decent
    witness.

Now is the bike worth less because of this? Would I have to tell any
potential buyer that I was in a slow collision that caused only
cosmetic damage? Obviously the bike will look as good as new when I
get it back, but wanted to know if this affected its value, both for
insurance puposes and in case I decide to sell.

Thanks in advance for any advice,

    S.

Technically, Yes. In practise, the value is the price the market will
    stand.
You don't have volunteer the information, but if you're asked, and you
lie, and they find out, you're in shit street.
You're already planning your lie, aren't you?
