Well actually, since I predate the car by quite some time, it's
obvious that they named the car after me. Mind you, why they had to
choose such a lardy, prone to rot, ugly monstrosity after .... ah,
    hmm, as you were.

When mine broke, replaced FOC at Techmoto, a Ducati place, with a
metal one off a 996 - which they had spare.
Aprilia design a road bike without an alarm.
Aprilia dealer fits a shoddy alarm, shoddily.
    Aprilia dealer sells bike.

    It's the buyers fault?

    It is now
No, don't think so, another forever subject over on rsvr.net.
Maybe - it's the I'll have to buy a replacement, and will it actually
    be any better?

All said and done, even with all the foibles(sp?) i think the Milles
    are great bikes.

Is that just a 2004 thing? - i might be wrong. Ebay should get you
shod of the trick stuff for a good price. I would try to find a
secondhand one. rsvr.net might be a place to look.
don't worry - how soon? I'm off to chamonix end of the month.
Can't help on that one, kwak dealer shouldn't be a problem. Hyside
(sp?) in Romford had a couple of mille demos but they didn't have a
    Turno in December.

all things are relative. It's got a 1690mm wheelbase, a dry weight of
320kg and 32 degrees of rake. You work it out.

    Also, it's only got 140bhp.

However, the 147ft/lb of torque (at 2,500 rpm) ought to count for
    something...
