There was/is a car manufacturer called Lonsdale in Australia IIRC. Fairly
crap they were too by all accounts.

  6. If you were a *real* Frenchman[1], you'd have included a "BWAAHHHHAAA !"
or "LOL !" in there as well (presumably to indicate that the lack of
humour in the previous post has made you laugh or summat).

[1] As himself isn't reading[2], do you consider yourself a Frenchman?
    [2] allegedally

Heh, no. Even when I get French nationality [3], I won't be really French.
It really doesn't bother me. I'll keep dual nationality though [4]. I
do consider myself European though and to me, that's more important.
He'll prolly go through every post, searching for words like 'French'
and 'France', to make sure he's not missed this.

[3] My main reason for going for it, is that I can vote in the French
elections. That has more influence on my life than voting for the next
British PM. I've also been told that it is quite handy for the
traveling I do, for work, when traveling to ex-French colonies.

[4] Even then, my origins are such that I'm not British <fx: waves to
Lozzo> and if I go further into my family tree, I'm Tunisian somewhere
    and Italian.

no, but since I said in the OP that I wasn't interested in cruisers,
    that's hardly surprising.

    Stupid.

Have you seen one in the flesh? Rather nice. It would fulfill your posing
requirement and unlike most cruisers it can accelerate and go round corners
    (apparently)

I'm neither an accountant or a homosexual, so I wouldn't be allowed to
buy one. Plus, I look bad in chaps. And, I don't believe you about the
"round corners" bit - they're about the same length as a London bus.
