True, but at 20 you think you can be Barry Sheen but by the time
you reach 40 you wish you had been.

The Japanese suzuki website shows a 2004 factory version, so maybe we'll
    get one soon.

    See now you're complaining already.
Aprilia certainly do a tuono and a tuono-r, with the trick bits, since
    2003 maybe even 2002.

To confuse things the standard 04 mille is now called rsv-r, the old
rsv-r is the rsv-r Factory and the old rsvr-SP is now the Mille Nera
which is stunning in black and a price tag 23K to match.
Some folks like complaining, in fact it's a national pastime.
Well you're more than welcome to HAGM.
New Monster ST4R with the 996? not my cup of tea in the looks
department - single big round headlights are only look stylish with
    sidecar and machine gun imho.

I find if i open the throttle as you start it it seems to spin over a
lot easier. I'd say a couple of weeks, depends on the alarm (evo
spit) and the battery, i think you can get a replacement for the OEM
which seems to be a bit stronger.
check out the rsvr.net - i'm sure that is a common and easy fixed
    problem. Alarm?
Heh, ear plugs are a must. FKN 104D would be a reasonable plate!
Your battery is shagged i reckon.
OK, being really picky, I'd add the sidestand cutout switch, a little
plastic bit will break off and cut the engine going on a bumpy road,
the alarm sucks, don't ask about ohlins fork seals and erm the
sidestand is not great. All easy fixe, 'cept the alarm.

The stock gearing on the Mille is too high, most folks drop one or
even two teeth on the front. Even with one toof less, it's mostly
first gear around town i find.

I lost the little plastic bit when I had the sidestand off for some
other reason. Replaced it with a section of nail - no chance of that
    breaking.
    Hardly Aprilia's fault, is it?
    Too many cack-handed wheelie landings?
Seems to be one of Aprilia's weak points. Lots of fixes for that.
    Pay someone to remove it?

I know, they don't do one in between, that's my objection. The USD
forks, radial brakes etc. etc. - great. I don't need the alternative
    bodywork etc.
That would be smashing. Pity I don't have a running bike to offer you
    a go on in return.

I also need to find someone who'll let me have a go on a Z1000.
Yes, I like that a lot, but I reckon it'd be even less reliable than a
    Tuono.

Yersh. I wish I was making this up, but I noticed a posh-style
30-something bird in Waitrose at the weekend, with two twin girls
(about 6-7 years old, though I'm not an expert in these things).

The children were called "Portia" and "Lexus".

  17. The latter may be where they were conceived.

as I said above, this is not my area of expertise. The mother would
    have got it alright.
