I care, a bit, but it's not an overriding factor. Mine dew, I'd much
prefer my bike in the proper colour, like this:

Anyone speak (and read) enough japanese to know whether this is
proposed for next year (whoops, I mean this year, of course) or if it
    was already available in Japan?

Really? While there's no one person I'd want to be I wouldn't mind being
    able to pick and mix.

I think that when Champ's sat on it, he firmly believes any bike
    becomes cool.

    Keep pushing it though.

Akcherly I always thought the 9R was the best looking of the Jap crop,
    particularly in green.

They look like a spacked-up SV thou.

Bland? Well, you may think so. I wouldn't agree.
It grows on you. More importantly, it works really well, especially if
you wire both filaments of the dip beam to be on for main, which for
some reason they're not as standard.

    Weirdo ;)

The only good-looking bikes Kawasaki have done (IMO, obviously) in recent
years are 7R, and possibly the 12R. The 9R just looks crushingly average
even compared to a 1998 R1. The new 10R and 6R just plain ming.

I like the 7R, but the 12R is trying too hard. I mean - look at those
little stubby wing things on the fairing. And why is there an ash-tray
on the tank? And how gash are those mirrors?

I do quite like the Z1000s, but if I was to get one, I'd be ditching
    the stock end-cans toot sweet.

I think the SV thou looks better. And I think the SV looks gashtastic.

Trouble is, over here all twin-headlight bikes only have one on for
dip beam, and I believe it's becoming common in the UK too. And it
    looks really naff, IMO.

I really like the set up on my current '01 'blade: you can have the
"twin light" look, but just running the side-lights (at the edges of
the cluster) and the headlight is in the middle.

You can get it here already, although the side panels have some very
    dark grey sections.

It's probably the only Kwak I'd have, at the moment. They're dirt-cheap,
too, and by all accounts they're tunable if 750cc doesn't quite enough.
Judging by the people who ride them in SW London, they also come with a pair
of white Reeboks, a pair of Adidas tracksuit bottoms, a bomber jacket, and a
£50 Argos gold jewelery voucher all thrown in.
I've only seen one in the flesh - couldn't decide whether it was cool, or
gay, as ****. The pipes certainly don't help.

    I still want a 2K Daytona.

Couldn't bring myself to get rid of the bandit just yet though, if at all.
