G'day, not hat I need one now, but more in the event of some unforseen
circumstance where I might need one in the future, and in keeping with
my PPPPPPP policy, I'm looking for recommendations for bike transport
    operators as follows:

    [1] Sydney/Blue Mountains/Central Coast/Illawarra region.

    [2] NSW statewide/Interstate.

I was going to suggest riding it but had second thoughts. :-S

Hmmm... You're shit stirring again.... :)

However, unless you want you pride and joy to be mishandeled, it helps
to have a few phone numbers on your sim card when you bike needs
    transport.

  5. I've used several in the past, invariably due to my spoked wheel/tubed tyre
combination (ergo, no possibility of using a "dog turd" style plug to patch
    a hole 'n' keep riding).

    Ghost Riders: 0428-922-700
    AllWest: 0408-248-382
    EzyMovers: 1300-722-477
    Anywhere Bike Salvage: 0412-377-548

Of the lot, I whole-heartedly recommend Ghost Riders - they're riders
themselves, have properly-equipped transport vans, and IMO their rates are
very reasonable. No, I'm not spamming for them - I'm just a very happy
customer (well about as happy as one can be when one's bike has to be
    towed).

Thanks Bob. That's the sort of info I was fishing for.

I used Ghost Riders in the late 90's. Was quite happy with them.
Glad to see they're still around.
