Yeebers, old chap, do be a good boy and READ THE FIRST LINE in the
earlier message. George decided to take a swipe at me. A silly thing
to do when he's supposed to be hiding because he's a low life who
pretends to be veteran when he's not not.

Why bring it up here? Because here is where George is. Here where he
and his couple of hyena mates thought it would be great to get a laugh
about me being dead (at the expense of the real dude who died in
    Vietnam.)

Now bugger off, Yeebers, before I remember you're an idiot.

  2. I " took a swipe at you" Gerry, because of your attitude
not only to me, but to some other people here.
If you care to recall, that if your tiny little mind can agree with itself
and actually read back and see who actually said that there was a Gerhard
Binder or Gerry Binder, who was reported in all publications, to have died
    while in Vietnam in 1969,
then we have you come in and claim to be that person and all the authors of
    those publications are wrong
So, who is to be believed?
You don't believe what I say, so why should people here, believe what you
    say?
Just because you are one of the wankers who get up in the Domain and sprout
shit to whoever listens, everyone should believe you?
You yourself Gerry, have set yourself up as the most knowledgeable person on
this group and apparently, a few other groups as well.
I have said before Gerry, that I have no interest or desire to "get to know
    you"
There is nothing written which says I have to tell you anything,
But I will tell you one thing Gerry
You are nothing but a fucking wanker
You came in on this group firstly, making smart-arse remarks to anyone you
    disapproved of,
then when they left the group, or stayed in the background because of your
attitude, you suddenly started being nice to people who you thought would
accept you and then most people here would accept you.
It makes no difference to the majority in here as to when I went overseas or
    to where.
Just your fucking little mind has it in itself that it wants to know
    Guess what Gerry?
I am not going to tell you who the **** I am
There are some people here, who actually know who I am and because of their
friendship and trusting nature, they are not going to divulge,
or I don't think they will because they too, think you are a wanker
**** off Gerry or Diogenes or Walt or whoever you think you may be.

    Oh, well, that's alright then...
Feel better now, George? You found three websites which all used the
same list compiled by an amateur historian in 1995 who made some
listing mistakes. Those websites have now corrected their lists and
you will no longer find me listed there. Because I'm not dead.
    Catch up.
Interesting. I've been in this newsgroup since 1995. You?
You're an imposter, George, and no amount of obfuscation or bluster
will change that fact. You've presented yourself here as a Vietnam
veteran and so far all you've come out with confirms that you cannot
possibly be one. You're a bullshit artist.
    You can't afford to. You're a fraud.
How convenient. You've now got top secret friends to go with your top
secret bridge building tour of duty, and your top secret name. Take
    your meds, George.
We know who I am, but no one knows who you are. And you masquerade as
a Vietnam veteran when you are no such thing. You're a sicko, George.

I'd suggest that with a bike that big and the "big tin panniers" that
everyone seems to bolt onto them, you may well manage OK without the
trailer. I'd recommend doing a couple of multi-day test runs before
    starting the big trip, too.

Oh, and go anti-clockwise. It's shorter.

Absolutely. Assuming a standard road width of 3.5 metres per lane,
anti-clockwise would be roughly 22 metres shorter.

I thought it was a remarkable coincidence that it was so close to
    22metres. But then I remembered 22/7.

    I like this proof:

would you care to explain why you call me a liar, fuckchop?

I would have thought it was obvious, mate. It has been pointed out to
you many times over that you tell fibs frequently. You see, you tell
so many lies you don't even know when you are fibbing.

    Remember this......
Give it a rest, Gerry Binder, Walter Mitty. You have been exposed as a
Toxic Troll, a mega mouth liar and a Newsgroup impersonator. Nobody on
this group is ever going to believe anything you say again. Your
    credibility has gone forever.

If you lie once, you have to lie again and again to cover up the first
    lie, Boom! Boom!

Gerry Binder, Walter Mitty, you are totally inadequate, pitiful,
childish and mentally unstable. NOBODY is interested in you anymore,
    your credibility is gone.

    ....And this.....
I've made my point. Walter_M...Gerry Binder... You are a liar, you
continue to lie, and it has got so bad that you don't even know when
    you are lying.

    .....And this.....
When is this group going to acknowledge that I am not really a troll.
    Boom! Freaking Boom!

And I refute the allegation that I am a troll
Awww...You poor diddums... You made your bed now lie in it.
    Boom! Boom!

    OOOOOoooooooooo..sounds of haunting. LOL

There are of course many more instances of your toxic lies, but if you
have to ask atec77 to explain why he called you a liar, then there is
    no help for you, mate.

You are without doubt, a prolific liar.

Interesting but try as I might I can't find tin panniers for the RT.
The OEM Panniers are great for Motel to Motel camping, but anything
more eg camping stuff has to be strapped on.
But but but... can you point me to someone who might have big panniers
    that suit the RT?

    Hepco and Becker?

they do 37 and 40 litre alloy panniers, I think you then buy pannier
    racks to fit your bike.

NOt sure who your best bet in Oz is for them, but I'd say most BMW
    shops should have some idea.

I guess the only option that would suit me would be panniers that
would interchange with the perfectly OK (albeit too small for long
term camping in camps) OEM system (short term is OK). I will talk to
the best BMW shop I know - Rock in Port MacQuarie - they will find
something that suits if it exists.
    Thanks for the tip.

My apologies, I didn't read your post thoroughly and assumed you rode
one of the "Paris Dakar" type BMW motorcycles (GS?).

I'm sure that you'd be able to make a set of tin panniers fit on
pretty much ANY motorcycle, it's just a matter of getting the right
    framework for the rack.

Incidentally, doing a lap of Australia aboard a big BMW seems a bit
*yawn*, but a lap of Australia aboard a Ural outfit would be Cool!
    (intentional capitalisation there!)

Well I haven't dismissed the Ural completely, and if the RT load
carrying can't be solved, then Ural it is.
I'll keep looking for a while then stop waffling then make a permanent
    decision.
    See you at the Unaugural
I will be in Canberra from Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th (Oct) for an
Army reunion. I can send a list of free time if a catch up is
    possible. Let me know.

    Do Ural anyway.

    Why?

Because you will meet more people and have more adventures.

Bods swanning about on big Beemers area 10 a penny. Ural outfits are
rare. YOu will get more people wanting to chat and that can lead to
offers to travel and see things.

Plus because it's slower you won't be tempted to just blast past
things. You can accept it's slow and decide the idea is not a long
distance commute but an actual tour where you take your time and get
off the highway any time an opportunity arises.

I found that MZedding was a qualitatively different experience to
    touring on big bikes.

(Admittedly not all positive but I expect the Ural will manage big
hills better than a 250cc piston port 2 stroke)
