Couldn't he imagine a bike to stick them on?

Since I first had the YB, unfortunately.[/QUOTE]

As if that'll work. Anyway, I've got his email address and phone
    number.

    The Older Gentleman says...
I really like Alan, terrific bloke. He's one of my best customers in
    Essex. He hates two-strokes, but he's a CB250RSD freak, he's got loads
of them. We do spares swopping. I'm dropping one of my spare swing arms
and an RSD tailpiece[1] in to him in exchange for some bits for mine.
His missus is quite small, so he's restored a CB250RSD for her as she
    can't kickstart the RSA.
You need to get up close and see the detail he's gone to. I thought the
500 Four was a brand new never ridden one, until he told me that he'd
restored it. IIRC he found the chrome trims for the tank in 3 seperate
countries as NOS. The CB250RSD his missus rides is just as beautiful.
The CB72 he's owned for about 25 years, since he was 12.

[1] It's got the lockable cubby hole, and they're as rare as rocking
horse shit in the condition mine's in.

  4. Funnily enough, he's been emailing me for the last few days, because he
saw what those NOS 400 Four carbs I had went for on Ebay, and he tipped
me off about a potentially nice little earner re NOS Honda spares.

We were both thinking along exactly the same lines, and we're going to
be hitting Ebay alternately, so as not to flood the market.

    My lips are sealed!
