Bike recommendations, please

  1. It was a bit like my old GT750 of fond memory, but just a bit more, in
every direction. More handling, more braking, more performance, more
    weight.

Better riding position. Excellent range. Cheap to run. Comfy. Reliable.
Did 130+mph. Just terribly, terribly dull. Sometimes I forget I've even
    owned it.

Well, I'll have a look around. Unfortunately the local Kwak dealer
    doesn't seem to have any.

You mean, like the one I'm currently watching on ebay. Oh, and you
    forgot the forward controls.

Not to mention the other bit that you cut, about the 'not too sporty
knee angle'. Nice bike, but the seating position looks pretty much like
the one on the VFR and that isn't cutting it either.

They don't look too different seating position wise. Guess I really need
    to try one.

No I can't cope with a rearset knee angle, neither can I take a foot forward
K1100 angle either. The ST is very neutral.

Methinks Ogden is getting confused between the Bandit 650 and the
    SV650.

Oh, ya. That too. There's no way a bandit 650 would keep up with an R1.
