Bike parking near Millenium Stadium?

I have tickets for the LDV final (footie for those that don't
know/care) on April 2nd and what with the railways not running any
trains between Swansea and Cardiff, meaning 30,000+ will be using the
roads from here to Cardiff, I am thinking of going by bike.

I can only think of one parking area used by bikes on the street. I
think there may be something to chain the bike to, but I'm not sure.
Does anyone know if any of the multi story car parks have bike parking
areas? (Harder to get a van into, I'm thinking and more people around)

    Thanks for any info,

The Hayes - has bars to lock up
    Churchill Way - has bars
    Windsor Place - has bars

Or, if you don't mind the walk, park it at Edwards motorcycles on Hatfield
    Rd.

I have parked the 9R there in the past with no problems. The bottom of
Westgate street was coned off, but that was only a deterrent for cars.

The Gericke carpark has CCTV too IIRC.

There was a big fuss recently about cars weaving through the traffic on a
rugby international day when the road was meant to be closed. The police
chap in the paper said that they would prosecute everyone that the cameras
caught so I wouldn't risk driving any vehicle along Westgate street if it's
    meant to be closed.

Hein Gericke sounds a very good idea.

The cones were at the Westgate/Wood street end. I rode along Wood
street, turned around at an appropriate point and, after checking with
a traffic warden if all would be O.K., pushed the bike through the
cones and parked up. Job done, no nasty letters from South Wales plod.

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.

I have spoken to the council traffic dept. and they have suggested one
of the park and rides, where there will be security. However, the
price will be £10. Funny how the price has doubled the day before, I
thought the idea was to encourage people to use the facility. I can't
see how a £10 charge will do this.

NCP want £12.10 to park with them, but no specific spaces for bikes,
"just use a space near the office".

The suggestion of near City Hall looks favourite at the moment.

I just need to check that they will let me into the stadium with a full
face helmet in a back pack. (With bike boots etc. could be useful if
    it gets lively!)

    Thanks again,

    Steve R.
