Not the one in Yorkshire... if anyone has any suggestions re good places
to park at the railway station end of town, be good to hear them.

IIRC you can stick your bike in any pay and display bay for free as long as
it doesn't take up the whole bay.

Failing that there is a bike bay in front of the theatre, at the corner of
the green, and another bay in front of the Cricketer's pub, again on the
green. In fact there are bike bays all over the shop.

  3. Yes - I haven't done this myself, but I see lots of bikes in P&D bays
and in residents parking bays too, especially in the summer when people
congregate on the green and in the pubs on the river, most of which are
surrounded by P&D and resident's parking bays.

    Usable URL:

Richmond is OK for bikes. Basically you can park anywhere that doesn't
stop them collecting revenue, and there are loads of designated spaces
    too.

Normal to the pavement on the white lines between any roadside car bays
is favourite, including Resident's Parking Bays. Best to choose the end
ones though, and to park *in front of* a car, not behind it. Far too
    many blind 4*4 drivers. :(

There are plenty of suitable spaces in the car park behind the station,
approaching from the A406 Chertsey Rd and hanging a left just before the
    Station.

    Becoming a very biker-friendly borough.
