BiKE magazine is owned by Emap.
    Emap has a website...
    http://www.emap.com/nav?page=emap.aboutus.websites.description&resource=103050&submit=go
but they've obviously decided not to bother creating a website for the
    magazine.

They also own ukrm's favourite weekly motorcycle newspaper - Motorcycle
ews - which *does* have a website :

The trouble with ukrm is you can't make a simple spelling mistake
without someone coming along to ram it down yer throat (pls ignore the
    feedline opportunity)

  9. On "Can't cook, won't cook" this week they had
a contestant whose real name was Mary Christmas.

    Or so 'twas claimed.

When I was a spotty 1st year at Cray Valley Technical High School for
Boys, we had a 3rd year called Christmas. One of his mates, ginger,
skinny, bright eyed, you know the sort, was once asked by a master, when
caught hanging around where he shouldn't have been, "what *exactly* was
he doing." Never one to miss an opportunity to take the piss the mate
put on his best sarcastic hat and replied, truthfully, "Waiting for
Christmas Sir." He got 200 lines for cheek for his trouble and three
notches higher up on the lower schools collective kudosometer.

But not original. Lifted from (IIRC) a Monty Python book (or was it
The Goodies), dating from our hallowed decade, the Seventies.
The text (although not the specific source) has lived in my head ever
since, waiting to be shocked into action at this accursed time of
    year.

Unfortunately BIKE doesn't have a website. I read that and Performance
Bikes, and have emailed Emap, who owns them both, and they apparently
don't have a website for the mags, ala Sport Rider. You can order them
    from www.greatmagazines.co.uk though.
