My 87 Ninja 750 won't start without a jumpstart and once it is running dies
if its not on another battery...

The bike has to jump start off an "eliminator battery pack"(portable jump
starter) in order for the engine to start, once the engine is running though
it does a few minutes after taking it off the eliminator or as soon as I use
any electrical device (horn, lights, indicators). The engine runs fine off
of the "elminiaator battery pack" and I can use any accesory i want.

Although the battery charges fine, and holds a ~12volt charge I suspect that
its dead because the bike quits as soon as it has any load put on it.
Brought it to Canadian Tire to get a load test but the guy didn't know much
about bike batteries and got weird test results (results he's neer seen
before from the machine) - even though it said it Test OK .. Charging.

What do you guys think? problem with the generator, bad ground?

    Any helps appreciated,
    thanks
