Not sure. It's complete common sense that there's little point in doing
    that.
Yes, under the mistaken belief that they're more privileged.
    Don't we all?
Best not to forget about the pushy crotch rocketeers who duck and weave all
    over the place too.
    Semi-legal speed?

  5. Also why did some clown on a trail bike insist on racing my 4cylinder
Landrover up 10 miles of soft sand beach, I wonder if his chain survived the
distance, I left him for dead after the first mile.

I know of a number of cages that can get their front end off the ground
    (strictly speaking it's not a mono though - it'd be duo wouldn't it ?)

  7. Why do they race other cars, workvans?
    You don't have to.
Is fear of falling over the reason so many motorcyclists try not to stop
    moving for too long?
Why do M/C's have to get away from the lights quickly but cars shouldn't,
maybe they're not racing you at all just in a hurry too.

What I'd like to know was why some kid, must have been only 20 or so, in the
passenger seat of a red V8 VN or VP Commodore was hanging out the window
cheering after he and his mate had blown past me on the highway. I was
driving my automatic Gemini (aka the shopping trolley) at the time.

What was he trying to prove I wonder.

I had this experience once in the US - I owned a Honda NS400R from Canada
and some kids in a hotted up mustang dragged me down the highway - hehe

I let em get in front then I passed him on one wheel doing close to 100mph

Damn that was fun - those were the days.

More likely tryiing to avoid having some idiot trying to knock you over.
One area where cars do have an advantage is that they usually do more damage
    when they hit something.

  20. Car drivers may often fail to see bikes because some bikes don't give them
time to see them, they assume everybody else in traffic is in Nintendo
reflex mode, then wonder why they get wiped out by some guy who's crime is
to have a back indicator bulb fail.
Then again I've seen a bike try and drive straight ahead through a box
trailer turning a corner, because he came up lane splitting too fast to
notice it's indicator. I've also seen another using the bus lane assume that
the turning bus will not use more than one lane and eat a picket fence for
his quest to get to work on time.
