Well.. I'm hoping to be as much of a wanker as as yourself one day
(not much chance - your far beyond the normal run of the mill wanker)
so I guess I'm in training.

  4. What did the British (also non-American) ones call them?
When is the "way back" you refer to? The bike was in place of the car, you
know, not much money, need to get about, or do you mean the 80's? (..and I
    didn't even mention the war!).

Well, that's put us all in our place, didn't it.

Funny how a large number of aus.cars people took the post as it was meant to
be, a light-hearted bit of banter - and some truly excellent discussions
have ensued. I've met some bright and articulate folks over in aus.cars and
even learnt a thing or two myself about both car driving and bike riding.

You, on the other hand, rock in 3 days late and obviously have a huge chip
on your shoulder about bikes and hence come up with your pathetic
    contribution.

So well done! You've impressed us all no end. Thankfully, you do not
represent the otherwise impressively high standard of people to be found at
    aus.cars.

Wow - that was worth waiting for, particularly as about 10 other people made
the same crack about 48 hours ago. If you're going to try and sound
smart-arsed, at least try to do it before anyone else.

So there's time limit's in aus.motorcycles are there? I'll remember
    that for your next troll.
That's a severe case of the pot calling the kettle black.
So you've got a full grasp on all the people in aus.cars after only
    three days?? Well done
Well Duh.. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Well, your standard of English certainly earns you "advanced standing" in
    the wanker stakes :)

Perhaps if you'd read all of the posts in the thread rather than just firing
off on your 'anti-bike' shite, you'd have noticed that none of this has been
    anti-car.

To be fair, the original post certainly generalised too much - something I
was pulled-up for and which I accepted as fair comment. Apart from that -
it's been a legitimate and entertaining discussion, which is probably
evidenced by the 200 + replies so far.

If you hate this thread so much, why not read a different one? You're only
managaing to embarass yourself in this one.

(PS - the standard contraction for "you are" is "you're".)

    I didn't know this was cross-posted to
    aus.pedantic.grammar.checking.dickheads as well.
Neither was my response - It was anti troll.
Do you think so??? Yea could be right I guess.
As much as you initally did with the original post?? - Not possible.
    See response above......

'Piss-ant bike group' - this seemed to be designed to deliberately provoke
the large number of members of aus.motorcyles who are following this thread.
    Hardly an 'anti-troll' sentiment.
Yes, I think I did. Hence I restated what I was trying to say, and the
people who criticised my intial post seemed to be satisfied with my
    restatement.
