Watchin those late night Biker Build off and American Shopper shows
    on Discovery

and thought "fancy having a go at that"

Googling in the UK has come up with full kits at £ 20K+
I'd rather buy a pipe bender, MIG + maybe TIG so I can DIY
Anyone had a go? know of a good parts supplier in the UK
for the motor and wheels etc ?

Yes thanks shed loads of them. By the way £20K is over the top.

Tell me what you want and I will price it for you and tell you where to get
    them from

Takes more than a bucket of grease and a wrench to make an engineer

  9. While we're on the subject, do you have any idea what I can do with the
seat, or indeed where I can get one to go on here:

    http://www.whingingcourier.dsl.pipex.com/photos/photo7.html

I've got a cut down version of the original on there ATM, and that looks
    like this:

I rather like the seat styles from the hardtails, like the one on your
    purple trike here:

I think fitting on of those and making it look right would involve a lot
more cutting and welding and if that was the case I may just as well buy
a frame, grow a beard and do it properly :)

Ah but i *know* i'm ugly, even a chop in a rolling chassis
stage is in my humble opinion, a pile of crap. Specially that
    engine, whatever it is.

    My 2p worth.
