My mate Pete is helping with some engineering jobs with a custom build in
his own time, which I am hoping to be completed sometime in the near future
(quite a few, to be fair but there is plenty to be done, since I am in no
    urgent rush).

This is the progress he is at with helping with the front end and quite a
few engineering challenges. I'm really quite chuffed with it so far, though
I haven't really had any direct input on it myself - except at the
"motivating", and deciding side in terms of parts, and components.
Unsurprisingly given the state its in, the Twizzle frame was actually a
"cast off" and might never have been used.

The original, when I first saw it I though to be a bit dog ugly in the
sample pics and could only wonder what the person who wanted it was
    thinking -(http://www.twizzlecustoms.co.uk/images/057.jpg)
(http://www.twizzlecustoms.co.uk/images/058.jpg) - perhaps explains why they
never wanted it - but realised that chopping the back end off, could be
quite a reasonable streetfigher/custom in the ilk of other Twizzle
constructions, and moved things in this direction.

Unfortunately for his own reasons, including problems with his diabetes he
hasn't been able to finish it for me but was more than reasonable about
helping me in a direction to get it finished. Top bloke, and very patient,
if a bit difficult to get hold of, and a long way from me.

The frame and yolks are from Twizzle customs "in the frame". It is really
quite nice to see them on the bike and together, and IMO, quite "meaty". The
running front wheel is one of Petes though.

WTF!!! What a sentence. Sometimes I should take just a fraction longer
multi-tasking my lonely brain cell between thinking, and communicating.

I quite like the billet yokes, the frame kit is horrible

Well, I won't disagree with you as you have a right to your opinion, but
will say that the custom stuff is very much an acquired taste.
I like the uniqueness aspect to it. It will look a lot different with a tank
on etc as well as it is far from finished.

Yeah, thanks. I'll take that as a compliment.

:) It was as much a comment about your working environment as the bike.
Where, for instance, is your water-jet cutter?

Lets stop right there, before you insult the wrong person. Not my
    environment you see )
