The ongoing saga that is my bike. Rad is split (really small). Can it be
welded, or liquid metalled up? A new one is £200!!!!!
I also need the rad protectors as they were so brittle that the broke when I
    took them out!
My gawd, this is costing a fortune!!

    A quick google popped up:

Dixon Radiator Repairs - Classic car radiators

    UK,
    Tel: 01734 415252

    or
    http://www.radiators.fsbusiness.co.uk/

Are they first places I would try.

There are usually chaps who can recondition these sort of things in the
    local motor rags.

Linger was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
Soldered, not welded. I assume that the tanks are metal and not
    plastic?
    <thinks hard>

Did you check the names of the previous owners when you bought it?

Is that right? Do you not weld aluminium?
No log book on a crosser. Have you ever owned a CR250

  7. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Linger"
You can weld ally quite the thing, if you're a good enough welder.
Iow, take it to someone. The local rad makers/repairers will probably be
    able to do it anyway.

Cheers, I'd rather have a reccomendation. I took it to a local enjineering
firm who welded it for a tenner.
    However, it still leaks!!!!
    I shall be returning tomorrow.
