IIRC there was a posting earlier this year about a web site which was
building a list of locations of bike parking bays - anyone recall the
    URL?

So what exactly is it that you found, then? If you'd left in some of
the quoted text, it'd be a far sight easier to understand WTF you're
    blathering on about.

As this post followed my original by circa 1 minute I considered large
    snippage to be appropriate.

It was a site where you can search for bike parking bays around the UK.

Which is OK as far as it goes, but needs its database to be thoroughly
populated by joe public to become properly useful.

OK, there, you made a post that included some quoting and attributions.
    That's a good start.

Back to the point of my post- were you planning on keeping the URL a
    secret for some reason?

Shame? Mmmmm.... now I come to think of it, sculpt the top of it into
your average phallic shape, smooth the sides (with a slight ripple)....
and Bobs your perverted Uncle! ;->
