Brilliant day at Mallory -didn't bin it, overtook a few in the novice
group (was overtaken by more though) and the weather gods were on our
side. Big grin all the way home and I'm off to get a new front tyre for
    the bike tomorrow.

Aha, and who was the painter and decorator bird?

I really enjoyed it too, cheers Loz. It reminded me though why I
don't go to Mallory anymore, tbh it's a bit shit in comparison to all
the others. It used to be a lot cheaper which made it OK but £90
nowadays will get you onto Donington National.

It was great to see so many smiling faces on the trackday newbies or
those that hadn't done one in ages.

Anyone for Oulton on the 18th August? Me and some mates are already
booked on but anyone is welcome to join us.

I'm still trying to get the day off so I can do Oulton and then go
straight to the Black Horse but it's looking more and more likely that
I'll not be at Oulton and I'll be in the fucking van if I get to the
    pub.

It's not my employer as much as the principal contractors fucking
    around.

All I know for sure is that we've got an important job scheduled to
start on the 17th August in Warrington and I'm supposed to be in
charge when we're at that site. Of course, schedules never change do
    they?

Ah well. Chances are though that you'd get on if you just turned up.
If it works out just come along and see what happens. If you can't
get on at least it's not a completed wasted journey as

    a) You can laugh at me going around for a while
    b) You're closer to the beer at the Black Horse.

  14. Yeah, thanks Loz and a pleasure to meet you and Mr Courier, and the others
who I didn't meet but looked at and thought about meeting :)

Was nice to find out my little KTM isn't totally disgraced by sports bikes
on a track. I don't think I stopped grinning all the way home although my
neck aches now and I've got sunburn on my forehead.

Hmmm, I've seen worse looking painter and decorators. Next time I'll
'be a friend' and tell her to take it off.

Did you check out the underams?

I have a feeling she may be half French or maybe Italian, either way
she hadn't done a very good job with Mr Gillettes best selling product.
