As in post title I made a big howler by leaving my 1980 Z650 on the hard
standing at the back of my flat last night. Got up to find the mirrors had
been removed and thrown down the lane and numbers 1 and 4 plug caps forcibly
removed, in the number 4 case it resulted in most of the HT lead
disappearing too. I've repaired it with plug caps from a mate's Honda CD200
Benly (he's got 2 in his garage possibly looking for a home) and some
solder, new HT lead and self amalgamating tape and the bike now runs sweet
again. Fucked if I know why these twats get pleasure in removing these
things. If I ever did something like that my dad woulda killed me! I got a
13 year old nephew who loves bikes and asked me where it was when he came
round earlier. Told him what was what and asked him to listen out amongst
his peers for anyone bragging about trashing a bike. They'll be sorry...
Anyhow, off to purchase a pair of NGK plug caps tomorrow and the bike is now
locked up in the garage that the fair Maria lets me use.

Naah mate, they can be useful...
Was happy in a way it wasn't worse, there was a milk bottle smashed there
too, dread to think what could've happened to the paintwork if they'd picked
up some of them they shards of glass and gone haywire... not to mention the
seat and tyres (new ones) I feel a panic attack coming on...
    Where's the vodka? ;-)
