  12. Its never been properly "trowled"... Its never had a crash it
    wasn't ridden home from.

It had been dropped before I got it, and had a ding in the tank
where the righthand switchblock hit it, and a scuffed up exhaust.

It got backed into by a 4WD up at Byron Bay 6 weeks after I got
    it (busted the brake lever)

I crashed it at lemming corner on an Azi's Birthday ride not long
after I started riding. (bent clip on, cracked headlight bucket,
probably more tank and muffler damage, but nothing noticeable)

It got backed into by one of my brothers flat mates while it was
on loan to one of his friends. (broke fron guard and bent
    sidestand)

The same guy dropped it in his own driveway and needed to replace
    the mirrors.

Its been backed into out the front of my favourite cafe at least
twice. (brake and clutch levers, more muffler scuffing, busted a
mirror once, snapped the mirror mount off the brake cylinder once)

Its been knocked over while I was at the movies. (snapped a clip
on - that made for an interesting ride home!)

A friend dropped it up the runway at the end of the old road when
a car shot thru the roundabout and spooked him. (brake lever
    again and headlight bucket again)

It got thrown into a ditch up the old road when Lillias then
boyfriend was trying to keep up with people he really shouldn't
have been. (front brake cylinder and lever, clipon, mirrors,
damaged instrument cluster, and another damned headlight bucket -
more scuffs on the tank and exhaust)

It got thrown down the road on one of the hairpins on the way
into Kangaroo Valley by a friend of Teddies. (another bent clip
on, more tank and muffler scuffs)

I killed the motor at a trackday changing down a couple of gears
_way_ too early coming into turn 9 - it lasted a couple more
weeks, but then needed a new motor.

It fel off the sidestand in a friends driveway while he was
warming it up (no discernable new damage).

It got backed into while I was in a nightclub a few months back
    (bent the brake lever).

I _think_ thats all... Is that really too bad a record for a bike
    thats done 180,000km or so?

Its only ever let me down 3 times - once the rear wheel bearings
died up in the Hunter Valley, the motor stopped (but I know I
actually killed it a few weeks earlier), and the bearing in the
sprocket carrier gave up the ghost last easter.

  15. But it does make for far less interesting reading than the Spada's
    travails...

....uh, I stuck it into the side of a u-turning Laser and then the insurance
company refused to write it off, so now it's being fixed.

You wanna buy it when it comes back?
