Biaggi on Rossi....

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by Dott.Ing.HatzOlah®, Nov 5, 2003.

  1. "Now Rossi will understand how hard it is to beat haonda"
(Ducati&Aprilia have been doing it for years Max, have you been asleep?)

"I did/nt believe he would move and am surprised"
(So is the rest of the world, perhaps one day he will tell us the real
    reason....)

"Next year for the first time i will have a offical factory bike, and
will try my best to become the Champion"

If Rossi beats Max next season then Max should get the message, time to
    give it away......

If Max DOESN'T beat Rossi (and everyone else) next year I'll eat my hat!!
(Provided Honda don't play ducks&drakes and actually give him a full-works top-spec bike!)

Rossi will win more races than Max next year.

    honda: Hayden, Max, Gibernau, Edwards
    ducati: Bayliss, Capirossi, Hodgson, Xaus(?)
    yamaha: Rossi

All of these guys could win races, with exception to the superbike
newcomers, on a 'less than factory' bike and they couldnt beat bayliss and
    edwards anyway in SBK.

Rossi with his crew will know many honda secrets, and can offer very
valuable input to yamaha. Quite frankly i'd like to see yamaha get up
there, and get some decent younger riders (get rid of checa, he's
gathering dust). Perhaps get Poggiali in there (as much as i dislike him),
or someone equally as talented from the 250's (De-Puniet, Rolfo).

Seems these days that world (and american) SBK is become a more and more
respected breeding ground for motoGP riders as they're on ~1000cc 4strokes.

If suzuki start making strides forward and get the potential to win races,
watch Mat Mladin jump over as quick as anything.

What is the go with the second ducati team? using two leased D'Antin
spots? buying WCM's spots? working in conjunction with a privateer?

    Cheers,
    Derek

i can't help but laught to that.. here goes: hahahahahahahahahahaha!
I don't think Rossi has ever been on a dog of a bike in his entire GP
career. Admittedly the Aprilia was the best machine in the 125 & 250 when
the japs couldn;t be buggered to notice those classes. Hate Max all you
want, but at least he was able to win the 250cc title after switching from
an Aprilia to a Honda and then to win his first ever 500cc race.

    Shock isn't the word!!
If Gibernau ever wins another race I'll have to buy a new hat ('cause
I'd've eaten all of the existing ones!)
    He's another Criville.
Without getting given all of Rossi's settings (and I doubt that
Edwards or Biaggi will look after him) he won't be troubling the
    trophy-makers.

I expect to see him in World Superbikes in a few more years.
